When anchoring your boat for a swim be sure to put out enough rope to be 2 times the depth of water for a good solid hold. The anchor will also hold better with a chain attached. At Stokley’s Marine we have coated chains that won't scratch the boat. 

Too little line out is the number one reason anchors don't hold like you want them to.

Tip to dry your towels throughout the day:


Purchase large coated squeeze clamps at the hardware store.  Keep the clamps on the boat for later in the day when your towels are wet. When stopped, to swim or eat lunch, put your damp towels over the windshield or on the Bimini top. Secure the towel to the surface with your clamps so they wont blow off in the lake. 
Solar dry your towels to make them last longer in the day!

 
















 Another tip: have the children stand on the swim platform to drip off before giving them a towel!
